We've got an update on the Drupal Training (first info that we posted here) that we're presenting along with Raincity Studios. Check out the current description of training -- this is going to be updated with a longer outline in the next couple of days.
Oh, right, the update: we're locking down the first day as a more general day that should be applicable to people that don't fit neatly into either Designer or Developer, or that don't have time for a full 4 day course. So, the first day (November 14th) will be a general overview. What is Drupal, what can I build with it, how do I configure it? A guide to Drupal.org and finding information there. Is Drupal right for me, for what I want to build? I think that for any consultant or project manager that has heard about Drupal, or even installed it and checked it out a bit, this first day should provide a solid grounding in spec'ing Drupal projects, or perhaps determining if Drupal is right for your internal organization.
The whole 4 day course is $800USD, just the first day is $250USD, with a catered lunch and snacks, and delicious coffee from Workspace.
We've also just decided that we'll be handing out USB keys with information on it. Everything from a PDF version of the Drupal.org handbooks to a copy of XAMPP with which we're going to teach people how to run their own local development environment. This will be included for all 4 day participants, or available for $25 to those who are only attending one day.
Contact Raincity or us if you have any questions. So far, we've got people coming from as far away Denver and maybe some Californians, too.
